Cornicabra olives are the second most widely grown variety in Spain. They have a dark purple colour and a well-balanced flavour, with a pleasing bitterness and hints of spice. Their shape is not completely round, with one of their edges ending in a horn-shape, a feature which gives the variety its name.
Serving suggestion: Perfect as a picnic snack as you only need to open the jar and enjoy them. To enhance their flavour, add a bit of sea salt and garlic.
