These small round peppers originated in the Americas and were brought back to Europe by Spanish conquistadores. 

Mild and gently fruity, dried nora peppers are the basis of much of the paprika produced in Spain.

These peppers are used quite frequently in Catalan cooking. Nora peppers form an essential ingredient of many fish and rice dishes, and stews. They also form the base of romesco sauce.

Hydrate the peppers in warm water, then peel and chop before use.
