Alemany lavender honey is harvested in summer in Castile La Mancha and Aragon. It has a light amber colour and an intense floral aroma with a sweet and gentle herbal flavour with a touch of acidity.
It is a very good honey to use in desserts and can be used to make great ice cream.

Mels Alemany is located in the tiny mountain village Os de Balaguer in the west of Catalonia. The large areas of uncultivated land make it ideal for the production of honeys such as wild thyme and rosemary and they select other varieties from different regions of Spain.
