Honey produced in a very small scale in the highlands of Arico and Arafo in the volcanic island of Tenerife by Roberto Méndez. There grows an endemic flowering plant of the family Boraginceae that can reach 3 metres in height and the locals knows as Tajinaste.
The honey obtained from the Tajinaste nectar is very light in colour, white to beige, and normally presented crystalised. Very mild in flavour and with a light floral aroma. It is protected by a DOP and it exclusive for our shops.
