Savoury, tang of island salt air. Paprika-rubbed rind. Chalky centre. Peachy aroma.

Milk type: Raw cow's milk

Torralba Mahon DOP is the iconic cheese from Menorca with a distinctive square shape and rounded edges. The vibrant, orange coloured rind is created by rubbing it with pimentón and olive oil as it matures. It has a Protected Designation of Origin.

The semi-hard, sometimes crumbly texture has a fruity, fresh and creamy aroma complemented by rich, savoury and yoghurty flavours.

Approx. 300g wedge, 600g quarter.

"Very good flavours rolling round the palate, with sweetness and savoury notes, creamy and fruity on the palate. Good firm texture and full bodied aroma and flavour. This cheese has a creamy mouthfeel and is full of flavour."

INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS Raw cow's MILK, lactic cultures, rennet, salt. On the rind: olive oil and paprika STORAGE & CARE Keep refrigerated. To enjoy at its best, open pack 15 minutes before consuming. This wedge is vacuum packed and will have a shelf life of approximately 30 days from dispatch.

  • During checkout, you can select your preferred delivery date (Tuesday to Saturday). Orders can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance. 
  • Orders placed before 11:00 am are eligible for next working day delivery (Tuesday to Saturday). 
  • Please note that deliveries are not available on Sundays or Mondays for most of the year, except during peak trading periods in December. Orders placed after 11:00 am on Fridays will be despatched after the weekend for delivery from Tuesday onwards, unless a later date is selected. 
  • Our courier, DPD, will send a notification on the day of delivery with a one-hour delivery window - between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm - to help you plan your day. 
  • You may also specify a 'safe place’ for your delivery if no one will be available to receive it. Please be aware that we cannot request specific delivery times or calls from the driver.
