Cooked beautifully so that they retain some bite, whilst being tender and moist, they are remarkably versatile and ideal for casseroles, in salads or to make hummus. An excellent product if you want to make real fast food.

These butter beans, or judiones, are carefully cooked to retain their shape and texture. The judion beans are soft, buttery and creamy and can be turned into a smooth puree, used in salads or added late to a slow cooked meat dish.

Our Arbequina oil is produced in Navarra, using 100% Arbequina olives, this varietal is most associated with Northern Spain. The finished oil is sweet and grassy with hints of green tomato and a lightly peppery aftertaste.

Grown in the Lodosa DOP area in Navarra these piquillo peppers are roasted whole and then peeled by hand. The peppers are a deep scarlet and their flavour is intense, sweet and mildly piquant. A 1-star Great Taste Awards winner in 2025 Note from the judges: "These are attractive piquillo peppers and taste natural. The peppers are meaty and firm. The peppers are smoked by the growers before being sent to the factory, where they are ground in stone mills, to preserve the quality. This smoked paprika had a mild, bittersweet flavour. If you’re looking for something with more of a hint of spice, try the hot variant of our La Chinata smoked paprika.

Fragrant, edge of bitterness. Hand-picked highest grade Iranian crocus stigma. Infuse for flavour. The most expensive spice in the world has long been used in the Moorish influenced south of Spain. Each stigma is still picked by hand and it takes 250,000 flowers to produce 1kg of saffron stamens. This high quality, Mancha grade saffron is grown in Iran, which is responsible for 90% of global production.

These small, finger sized, peppers were brought to Spain from Mexico by returning conquistadores and first cultivated in a Galician monastery, where they became known as Pimientos de Padron. They have now become a popular tapa in Spain, served fried and sprinkled with salt; they taste fresh and mild with an occasional spicy pepper providing an exciting contrast!

Small, firm greenish brown lentils from Leon are processed in Navarra before being put into jars or cans. Cooked so that they retain a little bit of texture, the lentils are exceptionally versatile and can be used with equal confidence in slow cooked hot dishes or in salads with a vinaigrette.

Guindilla peppers are sharp and piquant and are normally eaten as a tapa with other encurtidos. These pickles are the perfect accompaniment to our ranges of cheeses, charcuterie and pates. They also make an excellent pizza topping, a brilliant addition to a cheese sandwich or bring a refreshing piquancy to rich foods such as a terrine or a plate of charcuterie. Also delicious with Navarrico black beans.

Gently firm. Mild bitter finish, yet sweetened with herb dressing. Hard not to finish the tin! These artichokes from Navarra are partially cooked before the leaves are removed and the hearts trimmed by hand. They are then marinated in sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, parsley and basil.  The marinated artichokes have a tender texture and a nutty and citrusy flavour mellowed by the oil and the herbs. Serve in a cold tapa with Ortiz anchovy fillets, in salads or quickly roast them on a griddle.

Grown in the Ebro delta in Tarragona, this Bomba rice is capable of absorbing up to three times its weight in liquid, which means that it takes on the flavour of the cooking stock most effectively.  It makes a perfect paella, not only flavoursome, but with each grain of rice separate from the other. Illa de Riu is a third-generation family company, who grow exceptionally high quality rice. They have channelled their resources into improving the seed stocks of the rices they cultivate, and hence are responsible for growing some of the best rice in Spain.   

The classic Mediterranean tomato sauce is given extra depth of flavour and body from the addition of roasted piquillo peppers. The intense flavour of the sauce works particularly well with chorizo, game and red meats or in rich vegetable stews. Serving suggestions: use as the base for a chickpea and chorizo stew, in huevos rancheros, as the filling for empanadas, in pollo al chilindrón or bean stews.
