Our aim is always to deliver your order on the selected delivery date. However, at busy times, such as Christmas, due to the large volume of orders both ourselves and our couriers are handling, your order may arrive 1 day either side of your preferred delivery date.
We always do everything we can to ensure your carefully selected Spanish delicacies arrive to you in great shape and on time.

Where is my order?
If you add a mobile number at checkout you should receive delivery updates from our couriers (DPD or DHL). Please make sure to add the country prefix (+44). If there is a delay with your order we always aim to inform you and confirm the delivery date. At peak times your order may arrive 1 day either side of your preferred delivery date.
My order is missing some items but I've paid for them?
Where we’re unable to fulfil your order in full, we will refund any shortages automatically. Refunds may take up to 7 days. We will always aim to contact you about any changes but at busy periods this is not always possible. Should your order value drop below the free delivery threshold as a result, we will of course honour the discount.
When I ordered the missing item, it showed as in stock?
As we don't operate a live stock system and rely on our warehouse and stock teams to manually keep track of availability, our website may not always reflect the minute by minute changes to the availability of items. We always try to find an alternative and contact you about any changes. We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused by missing items.
Delivery days
We're pleased to offer delivery from Tuesday to Saturday, now including Saturday delivery as a new option.
STANDARD DELIVERY
Our standard delivery charge to Mainland UK postcodes is £4.50, excluding the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland. Orders received before 11:00 am can be despatched for delivery on the next working day, at an unspecified time between 8am and 6pm. Orders received after 11:00 am will be despatched on the next available delivery day after that unless a later date has been selected. We do not deliver Sunday to Monday, so orders received after 11:00 am on Fridays cannot be despatched until after the weekend for delivery on the following Tuesday at the earliest.
In the checkout process you can select the day that you would like the order to be delivered from the list of options (Tuesday to Saturday). Orders can be placed up to 30 days in advance. You can also choose to designate a ’safe’ place should no-one be at home to accept delivery. However, we cannot specify delivery times or request telephone calls from the driver.
SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, NORTHERN IRELAND AND OFF MAINLAND UK
We are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland due to Brexit restrictions affecting our courier service. For all postcodes included in the area designated by our third party courier as being within the Scottish Highlands our delivery charge is £14.95. Please remember that this is generally a 48-hour service and in some cases delivery can take up to 3 days after the delivery date selected online. For this reason it is advisable to consult a member of our sales team before placing the order. We offer free delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Off Mainland UK on all orders over £100 for delivery Tue-Fri.
JERSEY & GUERNSEY
For all deliveries to Jersey & Guernsey, please place your orders with our agents, Fungi Delecti. Please note, we cannot ship directly. Orders received for these islands will not be dispatched & will be refunded. Orders placed with Fungi Delecti are usually delivered to Jersey addresses within 1-2 days, and Guernsey addresses once per week.”

PACKAGING
Perishable items are packed with an ice pack that keeps the contents cool for up to 48 hours. All hampers are packaged in gift boxes, and an insulated cool bag must be included in the case of hampers that contain perishable items. All perishable goods must be kept refrigerated on receipt.
Recycling Instructions for Our Shipping Boxes
At Brindisa we’re committed to sustainability. Here's how you can recycle our shipping boxes responsibly:
- Check the Recycling Symbols
- Look for the recycling symbols on our shipping boxes. These indicate that the box is made of recyclable materials. Most of our boxes are made from high-quality cardboard or recycled paper, both of which can be recycled at your local recycling facility.
- Prepare the Box for Recycling
- Flatten the Box: Make sure to flatten the shipping box to save space in your recycling bin.
- Remove Non-Recyclable Materials: Please remove any plastic packaging, tape, or labels that might be attached to the box. These materials are often not recyclable through standard council programs.
- Recycle According to Local Guidelines
- Once prepared, simply place the box in your council recycling bin or drop it off at your nearest recycling centre. Check your local council recycling program for any specific guidelines related to cardboard recycling.
Recyling Instructions for infill packaging
Home compostable cornstarch ‘packing peanuts’
Some Brindisa gifts and hampers are packed with home compostable Ecoflow ‘packing peanuts’. These are made from corn starch, and are 100% biodegradable and compostable in accordance with EN 13432, the international standard for biodegradability.
On receipt, the peanuts can either be reused or recycled by:
- Simply washing away with water;
- Placing in home compost;
- Sending to an industrial compost facility.
Recycled Shredded paper
If your Brindisa delivery includes shredded paper, this is reusable, recyclable and biodegradable and FSC certified. Shredded paper is commonly collected with household recycling collections by local councils, if this is not the case check your council’s website for more advice.
