DESCRIPTION

Undaria pinnatifida has a gentle slightly sweet flavour, reminiscent of oysters. Golden in colour, Wakame turns green once cooked. Like other seaweeds, it is nutritious and high in protein. This kelp species has been found growing alongside the native species of the Rías Gallegas for decades, as it benefits from cool, deep waters. It works well as a salad vegetable, dressed simply with lemon; cooked as a garnish to meat, fish and seafood; or as an ingredient in pasta, rice, stews or even beefburgers. It can also be used as a condiment for biscuits, pizzas and pasties.

How to use: desalt before using. Soak in water and stir, repeat 3 times changing the water.

INGREDIENTS Wakame seaweed* (Undaria pinnatifida) and sea salt. *From organic farming. May contain MOLLUSCS, CRUSTACEANS and FISH. STORAGE & CARE Keep in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep refrigerated.
