DESCRIPTION

Milk type: pasteurised cow's and goat's milk

Net weight: approx. 600g quarter, and 300g wedge. 

The Valdeón (Picos de Europa IGP) is a pasteurised blue cheese made from a blend of approximately 90% cows' and 10% goats' milk. This highly recognisable maple leaf wrapped cheese, has a creamy and mushroomy aroma, a buttery melting texture and nutty, savoury, sometimes spicy flavours. It is delicious by itself or used to cook with.

INGREDIENTS Pasteurised cow´s MILK (80% min.), pasteurised goat´s MILK (10% min.), salt, lactic cultures, calcium chloride, rennet, Penicilium roqueforti. Made in Spain using Spanish milk. STORAGE & CARE Keep refrigerated between 2 and 6°C. This cheese is cut to order and will last approximately 10 days from the date the order is despatched.
