What's the difference between Lechoso and Golden chickpeas?

Lechoso is a medium to large chickpea with a pale, slightly pearly colour. A firm but tender pulse with a creamy, nutty texture and an earthy flavour. Ideal for long cooked stews. The golden chickpea is a medium to large chickpea with a golden colour and a rough skin. The texture is soft and smooth with a gentle nuttiness. Ideal for hummus or salads.

What should I cook with Epic pulses?

Pork and pulses are always a winning combination, but far from the only one; lentils, chickpeas and beans are ideal for combining with vegetables, such as spinach, carrot and potato, excellent with fish and can make delicious salads. They can carry strong flavours, such as curry spices, or make really simple, tasty soups. Try: Lentejas a la Castellana, Garbanzos con Espinaca, Guiso de garbanzos con Bacalao, Olla podrida, Potaje de Judiones, or Ensalada de Lentejas.
