Navarrico Whole Lodosa Piquillo Peppers, 390g
Potent sweetness. Crimson red. Flamed then hand peeled and packed. Super versatile. Brought back to Spain from the Americas by returning conquistadores, these small red peppers are a very mild variety of chilli. Grown in the Lodosa DOP in Navarra these piquillo peppers are roasted and then peeled by hand.  The peppers are a deep scarlet and their flavour is intense, sweet and mildly piquant.

Gently firm. Mild bitter finish, yet sweetened with herb dressing. Hard not to finish the tin! These artichokes from Navarra are partially cooked before the leaves are removed and the hearts trimmed by hand. They are then marinated in sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, parsley and basil.  The marinated artichokes have a tender texture and a nutty and citrusy flavour mellowed by the oil and the herbs. Serve in a cold tapa with Ortiz anchovy fillets, in salads or quickly roast them on a griddle.

Organic Tap de Corti Mild Paprika Pot
Artisan Mallorquín Mild Paprika, Tap de Cortí
Unparalleled tomatoey sunny flavour. Organic family farm. Ideal for rice and fish dishes. Tap de Cortí is an indigenous Mallorcan variety of pepper, known for its inimitable aroma and sweetness.  Tap de Cortí peppers are harvested between August and October. The ripest peppers are collected first, and then the pickers will return to the plants as the other ones ripen. Most of the drying is done in environmentally controlled chambers at around 50-60°C. After drying, the peppers are ground between stone mill wheels up to 5 or 6 times to produce the desired consistency. This unsmoked paprika is an extremely versatile ingredient; it enhances any dish with a rich, warm flavour and a fantastic deep orange colour. Try sprinkling it over bread, olive oil and salt or to make Pulpo a la Gallega. 30g pot
