These thin and crisp sweet rolled wafers are simply made with butter, flour and sugar to produce a light, rich delicious biscuit which slightly resembles a cigarette, from which it gets its name. Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee, they can also be filled with cream or creme fraiche and served with marinated fruit. For the chocolate biscuit aficionado, the chocolate version has almost as much chocolate as biscuit!

Gently firm. Mild bitter finish, yet sweetened with herb dressing. Hard not to finish the tin! These artichokes from Navarra are partially cooked before the leaves are removed and the hearts trimmed by hand. They are then marinated in sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, parsley and basil.  The marinated artichokes have a tender texture and a nutty and citrusy flavour mellowed by the oil and the herbs. Serve in a cold tapa with Ortiz anchovy fillets, in salads or quickly roast them on a griddle.

As with the majority of Christmas specialities, this soft turrón is predominantly made of almonds and honey combined to give a rich, melting sweet. Made from 70% indigenous Marcona almonds, toasted and ground finely, then combined with rosemary honey, the turron is sweet, rich and nutty. A 1-star Great Taste Awards winner in 2025

Toasted and caramelised Marcona almonds coated in white chocolate, then dusted in pure cocoa powder. The beautiful vintage tin uses a design from their 1901 range. At first, pure cocoa powder gives a bitter taste which is then offset by the sweet, creamy taste of the white chocolate in a combination that is enriched by the caramelized notes and crunchy texture of the whole Marcona Almonds. Great combination of aroma, flavour and texture. Please note we are unable to accommodate requests for specific tin designs.

This rice is cultivated on the Moorish built river terraces of the town of Calasparra in Murcia. The variety (balilla x sollana) is highly absorbent taking up about 2.5 times its weight in liquid, so it can really show off the flavour of a good stock.

Grown in the upper reaches of the fertile valley of the River Ebro in Navarre whose conditions are ideal for the cultivation of artichokes. They are partially cooked, before the leaves are removed and the hearts are trimmed by hand. Cooked to Brindisa's specifications they have a delicious slightly nutty, waxy flavour.

This simple quince spread is made from quinces (58%) and sugar and nothing more, all of them sourced in Spain. It can be used as a spread like a jam, add sweetness to savoury recipes or, in the classic Spanish tradition, be eaten with Manchego cheese.

The olive oil torta, a flat, unleavened biscuit, was first invented several hundred years ago to provide an easily portable snack for stagecoach passengers passing through the city of Seville. Now made in several different flavours, the biscuit with almonds is sweet, crisp and flaky with a mild taste of anise and crunchiness from the toasted almonds. Contains 6 tortas per pack

One of the commonest accompaniments to cheese, ham and charcuterie in many Spanish bars and restaurants is the simple breadstick, often made using olive oil. The shape may vary, but they all provide a textural contrast to the meats or cheeses. These little pointed breadsticks are crisp and crunchy.

This sauce is a classic base for many Mediterranean dishes. The rich tomato and sweet onion flavours match equally well with fish, meat or vegetables. Add herbs, chillis or capers to customise it to your tastes. Serving suggestions: add to a seafood stew, use as the base for arroz con pollo, as a simple pasta sauce, in patatas a la importancia, homemade baked beans or empanada.

Grown in the upper reaches of the fertile valley of the River Ebro in Navarra and manually harvested; the asparagus is hand trimmed and graded before being cooked and bottled or tinned.  The soft white spears are a familiar sight in almost any tapas bar in Spain, their mild flavour often complemented by mayonnaise. You can also serve them with piquillo peppers and a piquillo pepper paste.

Bakeries in Galicia have long made products that would last on board ships. Dried biscuits containing very little water were amongst the foods which were taken on most voyages. These traditional biscuits are still made, but now primarily to taste good. The butter in the recipe gives a lovely richness to the crisp biscuit.

Alemany orange blossom honey has an intense floral aroma with a mild, sweet flavour balanced by sharp, citric notes. Brought back to Spain from the Americas by returning conquistadores, these small red peppers are a very mild variety of chili. Grown and packed in Navarra, these piquillo peppers are roasted and then peeled by hand. The strips are a byproduct of the peeling and their flavour is intense, sweet and mildly piquant.

These small fruit wheels from Paiarrop are made only using two ingredients: pressed whole dried Pajarero figs and Marcona almonds. Pajarero figs are produced in Extremadura and they are recognised for their rich sweet flavour, their delicate skins and succulent juicy texture. The Marcona almonds are the very best that Mediterranean Spain produces: plump, creamy and rich in oil for extra flavour.  Sweet and fragrant figs, plump oil-rich almonds melded in an iconic Spanish accompaniment to cheese.

Grown in the Ebro delta in Tarragona, this Bomba rice is capable of absorbing up to three times its weight in liquid, which means that it takes on the flavour of the cooking stock most effectively.  It makes a perfect paella, not only flavoursome, but with each grain of rice separate from the other. Illa de Riu is a third-generation family company, who grow exceptionally high quality rice. They have channelled their resources into improving the seed stocks of the rices they cultivate, and hence are responsible for growing some of the best rice in Spain.   

Spice & saffron powder blend for paella. Additive-free mix of spices to flavour paella. This seasoning pack is ideal for rice dishes but can also be used in marinades for chicken and  in stews generally. How to use: empty the sachet into the paella pan before adding the rice. Do not add any other spice, only add salt if necessary. Proportion: 1 sachet per 6 servings (600/700 g of rice).

An extra virgin olive oil produced in Navarra. This oil is made from a blend of olives indigenous to the north of Spain, Arbequina, and to the south, Picual. The finished oil is clean tasting with grass and tomato notes balanced by a touch of spiciness on the finish.

These figs are picked underripe and green, whilst still firm, they are then put into a marinade of vinegar, sugar and spices. The result is a sweet/sharp fruit that makes a delicious accompaniment to hard cheeses or many kinds of cured charcuterie.

Mellow, fruity paste from delicate Ñora peppers. Adds extra dimension to many recipes. Nora are small round peppers that originated in the Americas and were brought back to Europe by Spanish conquistadores. The flesh of the peppers is air-dried and hydrated then made into a rich paste. Mild and gently fruity, when dried, nora peppers are the basis of much of the paprika produced in Spain. Nora paste is an essential ingredient for many fish dishes, rices and stews. It is also the base for romesco sauce. Because of its texture and intense flavour it can also be used for a pasta sauce, as a base for pizza toppings or to fill empanadas.
