Cooked white long rounded beans similar to haricot beans. Elegant and creamy. These alargada beans are very versatile, being perfect for purées, stews, or even salads. Taste profile: With a complex flavour, these beans are earthy with slightly sweet notes when tasted.

Our Catalan White Hooked Beans or Fesol del Ganxet are grown by Ramon Viura in the coastal mountains of Catalonia. These new season beans were harvested in Autumn 2024 and their freshness means they only need simple cooking. Serve with a fresh tomato dressing  or with grilled butifarra or toulouse sausages. As with the majority of Christmas specialities, this soft turrón is predominantly made of almonds and honey combined to give a rich, melting sweet. Made from 70% indigenous Marcona almonds, toasted and ground finely, then combined with rosemary honey, the turron is sweet, rich and nutty. A 1-star Great Taste Awards winner in 2025

Alemany orange blossom honey has an intense floral aroma with a mild, sweet flavour balanced by sharp, citric notes. The Alemany chestnut honey is harvested in the summer in Galicia, Burgos and Leon. It has a dark amber colour, almost opaque, with a floral, slightly woody aroma. The flavour is deep with hints of saltiness. Delicious eaten simply on toast or drizzled over fresh cheese. This product has been awarded with 1 star in the Great Taste Awards 2016. The judges' comments were: "Beautiful sap like colour. Pleasing texture. Strong upfront floral flavour with hints of caramel. Dark and slightly opaque, not overly sweet, with an almost peaty layer within the flavour."

Whilst pasta is perceived as an almost exclusively Italian ingredient the people from Valencia have been making the traditional dish of fideua for decades. This pasta resembles short strands of spaghetti and is used like rice in a paella, paired with a sofrito and seafood to make the classic regional dish.

Bahía is a single rice variety, rather than a blend of different varieties. This classic round-grain rice, "Illa de Riu" Bahía, has been regarded as one of the finest rices in Spanish gastronomy since the 1960s. The grains are grown from the Trías del Romero family's carefully selected seed, then harvested and packed with great care to ensure exceptional consistency, flavour and quality. Highly recommended for traditional caldoso (soupy) rice dishes, where it develops a wonderfully creamy texture, it is equally well suited to classic seco (dry) rice recipes.

Salty and sharp these capers are uniquely delicious; non-pareil in fact means “without equal” in French and it is applied to the smallest capers with the most delicate flavour. Capers are produced from the unopened flower bud of the caper bush (whilst caperberries are the fruit of the same plant). These buds are picked, dried in the sun and preserved in rock salt. They are a versatile ingredient, adding flavour to dressings and creamy sauces (try it with horseradish) or add to potato salads or eggs. They are a perfect partner to white fish.
