Spain grows more than twice as many olives as the next largest global producer and processes them into olive oil and table olives. There are a huge number of olive varieties amongst which the most popular table varieties include Manzanilla, Verdial and Picual. These manzanilla olives are green, with a firm and meaty texture and are slightly spicy with a lightly bitter, briny flavour. Marinated with guindilla chillies to add spiciness. Plump Marcona almonds are an indigenous variety to Spain, known as the “Queen” of almonds. Cultivated in the north-east regions of Aragón, Valencia and Cataluña, this varietal is prized for its sweet, nutty, buttery flavour and creamy texture.   Expertly selected, then gently fried and seasoned to perfection in small batches, Perelló Salted Marcona Almonds make a wonderful snack alongside a cold drink. Hand-shaped and cut olive oil bakes with mild smoked paprika. Great on a sharing platter. Regañás are a traditional cracker from Andalucía. Ubiquitous in southern Spanish culture, they often grace tables instead of fresh bread. They are made with extra virgin olive oil and sesame and are shaped and cut by hand. Originally, these crackers were distributed among ship crews, who were often confined for long periods of time, and this was a long shelf life product to carry with them. These baby sized gherkins or pepinillos are marinated in vinegar with mustard seeds, silverskin onions and black peppercorns. The perfect accompaniment to our ranges of cheeses, charcuterie and pates. Small and crunchy, they marry perfectly with pate, strong cheeses such as Manchego and cured meats. They also form a key ingredient in tartare sauce.
