Brindisa Vegetarian Range

Produced in the centre of global olive oil production in Baena, Andalucía, by a family that has been cultivating olives on the same land since the 18th century. The "flower" of the oil is made using a blend of Picual, Picudo and Hojiblanca olives and is organic, unfiltered and unpressed with delicious tropical fruit flavours.

This hard turrón is predominantly made of almonds and honey combined to give a rich, crunchy sweet. Made from 70% indigenous marcona almonds toasted and halved, then combined with rosemary honey, the turron is sweet, crunchy and nutty.

Kindly note this is a seasonal product that is only available from January/February until April. We receive calçots in limited quantities on a weekly basis during this period. Longer and more delicate in flavour than spring onions, they are traditionally grilled over an open fire and served with salsa romesco, a special sauce made from dried red peppers, nuts, garlic, vinegar and olive oil. As with most Spanish Christmas specialities, this torta imperial is predominantly made of almonds and honey, combined to create a rich, crunchy sweet.  Using the indigenous Marcona almond and combining it with one of their specialist honeys, Alemany has created a totally delicious brittle. This product was awarded 1 star in the Great Taste Awards 2016. The judges' comments were: "The copious quantity of almonds is well toasted and fresh. This has a rustic, home-made appearance. It eats with a good crunch and the toasted almond flavour comes through very well."

As with most  Spanish Christmas specialities, this yema tostada (toasted yolk) turrón is predominantly made of almonds and honey combined with soft, yielding marzipan. Made from indigenous Marcona almonds, blanched and then ground, the result is rich, deeply nutty and not too sweet.

Crispy and light potato crisps finished with a pickle seasoning. The exhaustive selection of the best potatoes, the frying process using extra virgin olive oil and the seasoning using just the right amount of flavour help create this delicate product. The pickle seasoning adds notes of freshness and saltiness, not entirely dissimilar to salt and vinegar flavouring in the UK. These are the perfect snack to be eaten straight from the bag. Caspe is a rare olive, indigenous to Aragón. Only 100 hectares of the olives are cultivated and, until quite recently, it was on the verge of extinction as it was not considered a commercially profitable variety.  This green olive paste is very aromatic and has an intense bitter flavour with a hint of fresh fennel.  Use it to add a deep, fragrant olive flavour to sauces, dressings and marinades.  

Woody, umami taste. Crisp on the outside. Creamy bechamel inside. Great finger food with alioli. Croquetas are a typically Spanish finger food, great for parties, made from bechamel - rather than potato like the French croquettes. Crisp and golden brown bites with the earthy flavour of boletus edulis mushrooms. Our frozen croquetas are a convenient way to enjoy this classic tapa without compromising on flavour and texture. They are to be deep fried from frozen for 4 min., although you can leave portions in the fridge defrosting but by doing this they will fry faster and will be much creamier. *Brindisa will take all due care to package this item in a way to keep it frozen for up to 24 hours, and goods must be unpacked immediately upon delivery. Items that have defrosted in transit may be treated as fresh, with a reduced shelf life.
