Finca la barca alioli garlic mayonnaise
Sale
Smoked Alioli, 115g
Creamy, luxurious garlic mayonnaise, lightly smoked. Fantastic for sandwiches & grilled meats. A rich and indulgent alioli made using oak-smoked olive oil from Toledo. This oil is naturally smoked over the fires that are used to dry the peppers which make Pimentón de la Vera. The garlic gives it an intense aroma and a full, savoury flavour and this condiment is traditionally served alongside paella, arroz negro and other rice dishes. It is also a delicious accompaniment to grilled meats or with simple boiled vegetables. Alternatively use it instead of mayonnaise for use in sandwiches, particularly with fish or chicken.

Bahia Rice - Spanish Rice
Illa de Riu Bahia Rice 1kg
Single variety, not mixed with other varieties. Bahía rice is a round grain, which has a great ability to absorb all the flavour from the stock. “Ila de Riu” Bahia rice is a variety that has been considered one of the best rice of Spanish gastronomy from the sixties. Grains are grown from the Trías del Romero family’s own selected seed, and the rice is harvested and packed with great care. This rice offers consistency, flavour and quality to anyone cooking with it.  It is highly recommended for traditional “caldoso” (soupy) rice dishes, as the cooked grain is creamy, but is also ideal for traditional “seco” (dry) recipes.

Galician Flageolet Beans, 400g
Flageolet 'Verdina' beans are a rare variety grown in the lush, rain-soaked regions of Asturias and Galicia, with our latest harvest sourced from Galicia. The name 'Verdina' comes from the Spanish word 'verde,' meaning 'green,' which perfectly captures the vibrant hue of these beans. They are harvested early, before they have a chance to dry in the pod, and are then carefully dried in the dark to preserve their striking colour and exceptional flavour profile. Verdina beans are about 15mm long and flat. They are planted in May and need a lot of water (hence their origin in rainy Northern Spain) before being harvested in November. They are creamy, with a gentle flavour and very thin skin. Click here for a Verdina and Monte Enebro salad recipe. Click here for a Verdina beans and clams recipe.
