This years Great Taste award winners for 2021 were announced last week and we were thrilled to see so many Brindisa products receiving 1 to 2 stars!

Every year Brindisa enters a number of products into one of the most prestigious British food awards, the Great Taste Awards.
This year nearly all of the Brindisa products nominated were awarded one or two 'Great Taste' stars.
Here are a few of our favourite products and some of the fantastic comments from the judges...
NAVARICCO MARINATED ARTICHOKES

"Beautifully prepared and great looking artichokes with a fantastic shape. We love the soft texture and the balanced savoury flavours. The marinade has a great blend of light herb, quality vinegar and light oil. A world away from firm, chargrilled artichokes. These delight in a different - and highly versatile - manner, as well as with their simple beauty."
BRINDISA GAZPACHO

"Very fresh tasting Gazpacho. The blend of ingredients is excellent; none is overpowering but all are present. We enjoyed the sweetness of the tomato and pepper, and felt the soup to be well-balanced in terms of flavour, with good depth and length."
PICKLED GREEN FIGS

An unassuming little fig on the plate, with an interesting interplay of sweet, vinegar and mild spice on the nose. The texture is very soft yet the sweetness shines through the vinegar flavours. We imagine that this is really fantastic when served with an aged cheese.
